After World of Warcraft: Dragonflight's release in late November of 2022, there's tons of more content players can expect.

At first, players got to experience the game's first small batch of minor content updates as patch 10.0.5 was released on January 24, 2023, and patch 10.0.7 is just around the corner. Following this up will be the expansion's first big content update, patch 10.1.

So, when does WoW Dragonflight patch 10.1 release? Here's everything we know.

When does WoW Dragonflight patch 10.1 release?

Also signifying the launch of Dragonflight Season 2, patch 10.1 will be the first big content update for the expansion.

According to the 2023 WoW Dragonflight content roadmap, this content update will bring on a brand-new zone, a new raid, another PvP season, a new set of Mythic+ dungeons (a new Mythic+ dungeon pool), updates to professions, User Interface improvements, and more. Players can also expect a good chunk of balancing and tuning to the game's classes as well.

There's no specific release date for WoW Dragonflight patch 10.1. However, looking at the 2023 WoW Dragonflight content roadmap that Blizzard unveiled in late December of 2022, players can expect Dragonflight patch 10.1 to drop around the early summer months around the months of May or early June.

This update will release after patch 10.0.7 and will later be followed up with smaller content patches such as 10.1.7 and 10.1.7 before Dragonflight Season 3 launches later in 2023.
