WoW Classic WotLK Phase 1 COUNTDOWN: Release Time & Date for Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity, & Obsidian Sanctum

Now that World of Warcraft: Classic's latest expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, is up and running, it's time to shift gears towards its first batch of content—Phase 1.

Focusing mainly on three raid releases, Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity, and Obsidian Sanctum, Wrath of the Lich King Classic Phase 1 will forgo any minor or major feature and content addition in favor of the expansion's first PvE raid content.

Knowing that, let's countdown how long we'll have until these raids release.

UPDATED - Phase 1 goes live in just a few hours

In just a few hours, Phase 1 and all of its raids, Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity, and Obsidian Sanctum will go live.

WoW Classic WotLK Phase 1: Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity, & Obsidian Sanctum Release

Wrath of the Lich King Classic went live last week on Monday, September 26, 2022, at 6 pm EST.

The expansion came with tons of new features and content ranging from the game's first new class, the Death Knight, a new continent in Northrend, and much more. However, apart from the dungeons it came with, it didn't launch with any raids.

That's where Phase 1, namely Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity, and Obsidian Sanctum, come in which will release on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 6 pm EST via a worldwide release.

Here are release times for other regions:

• 11 pm BST, Thursday, October 6
• 12 am CET, Friday, October 7
• 7 am KST, Friday, October 7
• 9 am AEDT, Friday, October

This will all amount to a total of nearly two weeks, or ten to 11 days, of players getting ready for the three raids via leveling and gearing up.

Although both Eye of Eternity and Obsidian Sanctum have one boss each, Naxxramas boasts 15 total bosses, giving players plenty of content in this Phase 1.
