Flying is Coming to WoW Shadowlands


The next step in WoW Shadowlands looks to be a massive one according to some leaks from Blizzard, an update called Chains of Domination.

Chains of Domination will feature plenty of things according to the leaks, including a new raid, new main story quests, and plenty more.

But one leak that might take players by surprise is that WoW Shadowlands flying is coming!

Here's what we know so far.

Players have been asking for flying in WoW Shadowlands zones since the beginning, but Blizzard have held off in order for players to be more immersed in the zones and covenants of the Shadowlands.

In Chains of Domination, the next Shadowlands update, however, that will change.

Players will soon be able to fly in all four of the main Shadowlands domains, including some covenant specific flying mounts! For those wanting to fly in The Maw, however, it seems you're out of luck.

While we don't have specifics just yet, it looks like we'll be getting unique flying mounts from the WoW Shadowlands covenants!

Chains of Domination Leaks

Blizzard revealed the following in a since-deleted Bluepost on the new Chains of Domination update:

"And More - Gear up for Shadowlands Raid, Dungeon, and PvP Season 2, with a seasonal Mythic Keystone dungeon affix themed around the Jailer's power; don new Covenant cosmetics armor sets that any class can wear; expand the powers of your Soulbinds and Conduits; add new mounts and pets to your menagerie; Unlock flying in the Convenants' four domains; and much more."
