After years of preamble and discussion, AEW Fight Forever has finally arrived.

With an eye toward a more arcade and old-school feel, AEW Fight Forever will try to dethrone WWE 2K23 as the best wrestling game around.

While it's been a rough ride, we're glad to finally reach the end and try out this brand-new game.

Here's everything we know so far including news of a brand new mode set to be added in an upcoming update.

LATEST - NEW Mode CONFIRMED

It wasn't a dream folks, as AEW Fight Forever has officially confirmed that a new Stadium Stampede mode is coming to the game.

Confirmed via the official AEW Games Twitter, this brand new mode will be free to play for all and is set to arrive in a future update for the game.

No set date has been provided yet, but we do know that this mode is set to offer a battle-royale-type experience we've never seen before.

An exciting moment for the future of this new franchise, AEW Fight Forever is about to get a whole lot better.

AEW Fight Forever release date

The biggest question everyone will have is exactly when the game will arrive, and for some time it's looked like the most likely AEW Fight Forever release date would be September 2022, but that turned out to be a false dawn.

However, there is now a definitive AEW Fight Forever release date. You can get your hands on the game on 29 June.

The game is set to unlock at 9am ET / 2pm BST according to the PlayStation store.

We also know the match types that will be included in AEW Fight Forever. Of course singles, tag, 3-way, and 4-way matches are in the game but so are ladder matches, the Casino Battle Royale, falls count anywhere, and the wild unsanctioned lights out match and the exploding barbed wire death match!

A new Stadium Stampede has also been confirmed to arrive in AEW Fight Forever, but no release date is confirmed right now.
