If you don't want to do the counting yourself, that brings us to a current total of 77 characters expected to be part of the WWE 2K22 roster.

With so many names yet to be confirmed, we expect the final count to show well over 100 characters on the playable WWE 2K22 roster.

When will the full WWE 2K22 roster reveal happen?

WWE Games seems to prefer this bit by bit approach, so it could be a few weeks before we have a clear picture of the entire WWE 2K22 roster and which characters didn't make the cut.

In the past, the full roster reveal has landed only a week or ten days before launch, so we may not get the full reveal soon.

When it does finally arrive, what will be most notable isn't just which characters will be in WWE 2K22 but which ones they choose to leave out.

As noted above, some superstars have left WWE or requested their release while the game has been in development, so the possibility of them being in the game is still unconfirmed.
