'Session Moth' Martina out of OTT Scrappermania 4

Irish female wrestling star 'Session Moth' Martina will not be competing at Over The Top (OTT) wrestling's Scrappermania 4 on the 12th of May, the Irish promotion have confirmed. As the name implies, it's OTT's premiere event of the year, and often one in which they try to have as many big indie names as possible.

It comes as devastating news for the constantly expanding Irish promotion. Martina has been one of their marquee stars, and her skill and popularity has only grown in recent months.

Thanks in part to that growing skill and popularity, the current OTT women's and gender neutral champion recently signed a deal with Japanese all-female promotion Stardom to compete at a series of their shows in April.

Martina won the women's title back in August when she beat then-champ Katey Harvey, and is next due to defend her title in a fatal-four-way match at OTT's all-female show - Defiant - on the 1st of April. She will then appear on her first Stardom show on the 21st of April.

Unfortunately, OTT have confirmed that - due to those commitments to Stardom - Martina will be unable to compete at Scrappermania.
