WWE 2K22: Superstar removed from upcoming Stand Back Pack DLC

WWE 2K22 has been rolling strong since launch with the continued release of DLC bringing new superstars to an already expansive roster.

However, the upcoming Stand Back Pack has officially gotten a bit lighter as one recently released superstar was removed from this WWE 2K22 DLC.

Nash Carter no longer joining WWE 2K22 roster in Stand Back Pack DLC

When WWE 2K22 was first released, there was plenty of speculation in the buildup to launch about what the final roster would look like.

Multiple superstars like Jeff Hardy, Kyle O'Reilly, William Regal, and more had left the company before the WWE 2K22 release date finally arrived.

In that case, they chose to keep the WWE 2K22 roster as it was and didn't actively remove superstars only because they were no longer under contract.

However, the situation is different with the upcoming Stand Back Pack and the now confirmed removal of Nash Carter.

Formerly one half of the NXT Tag Team Championship team MSK along with Wes Lee, Nash Carter was very suddenly released from the company back on April 6, 2022.

The move came after Carter's wife, Kimber Lee, made credible accusations of domestic violence which included photos of her injuries and images of Carter doing the Nazi salute.

Despite the fact that Carter was a champion at the time the news broke, WWE decided the public outcry was enough to cut ties and release Nash Carter from his contract.

Thanks to new reporting by Mike Straw of SGO and an official statement from 2K, we've learned Carter will not be included in the Stand Back Pack as originally planned.

MyFACTION bonuses offered as a replacement in Stand Back Pack

Not only do we know that Nash Carter will not make it into WWE 2K22, but the official statement from 2K provided to SGO has clarified some replacements.

In his absence, 2K will be adding Booker T EVO and Seth Rollins Emerald MyFACTION cards as bonus content for the Stand Back Pack DLC.

These come in addition to the following four superstars who are still joining the WWE 2K22 roster:

• The Hurricane
• Stacy Keibler
• A-Kid
• Wes Lee
