MyRISE is one of the most appealing game modes of the upcoming release, bringing back a storied career mode gameplay that fans have been sorely missing in the series' hiatus.

MyRISE Brands & Disposition

WWE 2K22 MyRISE will span all 3 WWE brands between NXT, Raw, and Smackdown as your character fights their way to the top of the company. Along the way players will have plenty of choices including whether to be a hero (face) or villain (heel), and when to switch between the two.

Players will also get the chance to go international on their road to the top, including areas like Mexico which will have their own unique storylines.

MyRISE Backgrounds

In MyRISE players can choose from four different backgrounds for their superstars at character creation, each offering their own bonuses. WWE 2K22 MyRISE backgrounds include the following and their stat bonuses:

  • Technical Submission Defense +10%
• Indie
  • Aerial Offense +10%
  • Grapple Reversal +5%
  • Finisher +5%

Decisions

Throughout WWE 2K22 MyRISE players will have the chance to make decisions that will shake up their career mode story, including things like taking on different rivalries based on who you go after and who you show mercy to.

The WWE 2K22 career mode includes over 3000 recorded voice lines across commentary and superstars alike and offers over 50 hours of gameplay between men's and women's division storylines.

WWE 2K22 Career/Story Mode builds on a long history

This type of game mode has a long and rich history in WWE-based video games as far back as the original WWE Raw and Smackdown Just Bring It/Smackdown! Shut Your Mouth games of the early 2000s all the way through the Day of Reckoning series, Smackdown vs Raw series, and finally the WWE 2K series.

While players have been critical of the career modes of recent WWE 2K games, WWE 2K22 MyRISE looks like it has all the potential to change the narrative and challenge for being one of the best game modes of this year's release!
