WWE 2K22 Unlockables Guide: How to unlock every superstar, arena, and title

With the game now finally here, WWE 2K22 unlockables are a first goal for most players as they try to gain access to the game's full unrestricted roster as quickly as possible.

We've got details on all the new superstars, legends, arenas, and championships you'll be able to unlock in this WWE 2K22 unlockables guide.

WWE 2K22 Unlockables: How to unlock every superstar and legend on the roster

If you're just diving into WWE 2K22, you might notice that some of the big names and classic variants of superstars that were discussed heading into launch aren't available when you start the game.

With dozens of extra superstars and legends to unlock, it'll be a process for fans, but a worthwhile one thanks to all these exciting additions.

So far, it appears the primary way of unlocking superstars and legends is either as VC Purchasables or through MyRISE and 2K Showcase.

First, there are 41 members of the roster than are unlocked as VC Purchasables. You'll find them by going to Options then Store then VC Purchasables from the main menu.

Here are all the superstars and legends unlocked this way:

• Beth Phoenix - 1,000 VC
• Big Boss Man - 1,000 VC
• Bobby Heenan (Manager) - 300 VC

If you want to unlock them all, it'll cost you a total of 37,900 VC. You can earn VC by playing matches, but there's also the option to spend on microtransactions to get some quickly.

In addition, players who purchase the WWE 2K22 Deluxe Edition or WWE 2K22 nWo 4-Life Edition will receive the WWE 2K22 Supercharger DLC which automatically unlocks all purchasables. You can also purchase the Supercharger separately for $4.99 if you got a different edition of the game.

How to unlock superstars and legends in the 2K Showcase

In addition to these superstars and legends, there are at least 17 more members of the WWE 2K22 roster unlocked through the 2K Showcase featuring Rey Mysterio by completing all objectives for a given Showcase period.

Here are the key WWE 2K22 unlockables for that mode and when you can unlock them:

• Batista - Unlocked by completing SmackDown vs. Batista
• Dolph Ziggler '09 - Unlocked by completing SummerSlam 2009
• Dominik Mysterio - Unlocked by completing Payback 2020
• Eddie Guerrero - Unlocked by completing WrestleMania 21
• Eddie Guerrero '97 - Unlocked by completing Halloween Havoc 1997
• JBL - Unlocked by completing Judgement Day 2006
• Kane '08 - Unlocked by completing Cyber Sunday 2008
• The Miz '11 - Unlocked by completing Raw vs. The Miz
• Rey Mysterio '05 - Unlocked by completing WrestleMania 21
• Rey Mysterio '06 - Unlocked by completing Raw vs. Shawn Michaels and Judgement Day 2006
• Rey Mysterio '08 - Unlocked by completing Cyber Sunday 2008
• Rey Mysterio '09 - Unlocked by completing SummerSlam 2009
• Rey Mysterio Dec '09 - Unlocked by completing SmackDown vs. Batista and Royal Rumble 2010
• Rey Mysterio '11 - Unlocked by completing Raw vs. The Miz
• Rey Mysterio Jr. - Unlocked by completing Halloween Havoc 1997
• Shawn Michaels - Unlocked by completing Raw vs. Shawn Michaels
• The Undertaker '10 - Unlocked by completing Royal Rumble 2010

Most of these will immediately be accessible as you can choose where to start and play in the 2K Showcase, but the Payback 2020 match doesn't unlock and provide access to getting Dominik Mysterio until you've completed all other objectives.

Can you unlock superstars or alternate attires in MyRISE?

While playing through WWE 2K22 MyRISE, we've come across several versions of superstars already in the game that aren't part of the core roster.

So far for us this has included the NXT version of Donovan Dijakovic, King Corbin, the NXT version of Nikki Cross, and more, but completing each of the stories with them did not actually unlock those versions of the characters outside of MyRISE.

While it's possible there's a method that hasn't been discovered yet, right now it looks like alternate attires and versions of superstars seen in MyRISE are not actually unlockable for use anywhere else in the game.

However, players excited to use these characters should keep an eye on Community Creations as there are sure to be uploads of them soon if they aren't already there.

WWE 2K22 Unlockables: How to unlock every arena

Superstars and legends are just one piece of the puzzle if you're looking to unlock everything in WWE 2K22, and there are several classic arenas you'll be able to use.

To start, the following five arenas are available as VC Purchasables and are automatically unlocked if you have the WWE 2K22 Supercharger which is mentioned above:

• Raw 2020 - 500 VC
• SmackDown 2020 - 500 VC
• SummerSlam '88 - 500 VC
• WCW Monday Nitro '98 - 500 VC
• WCW Starrcade 1996 - 500 VC

In addition, the following arenas are unlockable in the 2K Showcase during the portions that match up with the arena itself:

• WCW Halloween Havoc 1997
• WrestleMania 21
• Raw 2005
• Judgment Day 2006
• Cyber Sunday 2008
• SummerSlam 2009
• SmackDown 2009
• Royal Rumble 2010
• Raw 2011
• Raw April 2019
• Raw September 2019

Finally, there are believed to be 9 more unique arenas unlockable via MyRISE, but these are the only ones we've been able to confirm so far, their corresponding story, and the brand that it's linked to:

• Japan Hall - Unlocked by completing Sayonara Hogan (NXT, Men's MyRISE)
• Mexico Plaza - Unlocked by completing Hector Flores' Secret (NXT, Men's MyRISE)
• King of the Ring - Unlocked by completing King of the Ring (SmackDown, Men's MyRISE)
• LAW - Unlocked by completing Stripey (RAW, Men's MyRISE)
• Mae Young Classic - Unlocked by completing Mae Young Classic (NXT, Women's MyRISE)
• WrestleMania MyRISE - The Road to Rhea (NXT, Women's MyRISE)

We've also seen reports of the following arenas, but are still pinpointing exactly which storylines cause these to be unlocked.

• Evolution
• BCW
• Queen of the Ring

WWE 2K22 Unlockables: How to unlock every championship title

Finally, there are dozens of championships and titles available in WWE 2K22 in addition to the ability to create your own in the Creation Suite.

The vast majority are gathered as VC Purchasables the same was as others listed above, and due to the SuperCharger automatically unlocking them we don't have details on how much VC each costs, but these are the titles you can unlock with that method:
