Monday Night Raw hosts their final pay-per-view on the "Road to WrestleMania" this Sunday with two huge Elimination Chamber matches headlining the event. Six women will make history in the first-ever women's Elimination Chamber match, and seven men will compete in the men's match for the first time in order to decide who gets to challenge Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. While not listed below because it isn't a match, it's worth noting that Ronda Rousey will be there to sign her WWE contract.
How to watch Elimination Chamber
When: The event will take place on Sunday, February 25th. It will start at 8 PM Eastern Time, 5 PM Pacific Time, and 1 AM British Time (technically on Monday, February 26th). In India and Australia, it will technically start on Monday, February 26th. It will start at 6:30 AM India Standard Time and 12 PM Australian Eastern Daylight Time. The Kickoff Show will start one hour prior to the main start time, so 7 PM Eastern Time, etc. The main show is scheduled to last approximately three hours and may be followed by an edition of Raw Talk on the WWE Network.
Where: As always, Elimination Chamber is available on the WWE Network which can be viewed through most media devices. Raw Women’s Championship Elimination Chamber Match: Alexa Bliss (c) vs Bayley vs Mandy Rose vs Mickie James vs Sonya Deville vs Sasha Banks
The first ever women's Elimination Chamber match takes place this Sunday as Alexa Bliss defends her Raw Women's Championship against five hungry competitors. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville have a lot to prove, and the two members of Absolution will be looking out for each other as the match goes on. Sasha Banks has been on a roll in recent weeks, but her friendship with Bayley has been strained along the way. Meanwhile, Bliss seems to have reunited with former friend Mickie James. It's not clear how long any of these alliances will last inside the Elimination Chamber, but any advantage could go a long way in attaining victory. Whoever wins this match will also have the added benefit of being the likely champion at WrestleMania, all but guaranteeing them a match at that event.
#1 Contender’s Elimination Chamber Match: Braun Strowman vs Elias vs John Cena vs Roman Reigns vs The Miz vs Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor
For the first time, seven men will compete in the Elimination Chamber. Rather than competing for a championship, the winner will earn the right to challenge Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. Opportunites to have a title match at WrestleMania don't come around often, so every single one of these men will be putting everything they have into this barbaric match. Roman Reigns is the favorite thanks to the longtime rumors that he'll be facing Brock Lesnar, but the nature of the match makes any outcome possible. Elias has an edge because he'll be the final man to be released into the match, but he'll have plenty of competition to face off against even by that point in the match.
Asuka vs Nia Jax (if Nia wins, she is added to the Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania)
Nia Jax might not be getting the chance to participate in the first women's Elimination Chamber match, but she's got another accolade in mind for this Sunday. After winning the first-ever women's Royal Rumble match, Asuka has continued her undefeated streak and put down every opponent she's come up against. Nia Jax is a different kind of opponent, and her power gives her a distinct advantage, but nobody has been truly ready for Asuka thus far. Either way, the winner of this carries huge momentum headed to WrestleMania.
“Woken” Matt Hardy vs Bray Wyatt
After weeks of sneak attacks and dueling promos, the ongoing war between these two mysterious competitors finally comes to a head at Elimination Chamber. This will be the first big match for "Woken" Matt Hardy since his transformation, while it's a far cry from where Wyatt was at last year's Elimination Chamber event. With reported praise for Matt's new character, he is the favorite to win, but it's always important to expect the unexpected in a supernatural clash such as this.
Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The Bar (c) vs Titus Worldwide
After Titus Worldwide upset The Bar again on Raw, they issued a challenge for Elimination Chamber. WWE.com has confirmed that challenge was accepted, and the duo will challenge Cesaro & Sheamus this Sunday. If they can pull off a third upset, they'll have proven themselves an extremely capable tag team, but The Bar will up their game even more because their titles will be on the line.
Kickoff Match: Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs The Miztourage
This match was just announced today via WWE.com and will pit Finn Balor’s buddies Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson against Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas, collectively known as The Miztourage. This could signal a rivalry between The Miz and Finn Balor headed into WrestleMania, but either way it should be a fun kickoff match even without high stakes.
