One of the more underrated game releases of 2022, Ghostwire Tokyo was brought to PlayStation consoles as a timed exclusive for the next-gen PS5.
Now, that we're quickly approaching the one-year period for the game's release, many fans are expecting to see this title finally make its debut on Xbox consoles.

Ghostwire Tokyo Xbox Release Date.
The release date for Ghostwire Tokyo's Xbox port all depends on the specifics of the exclusivity deal that was made ahead of its initial release.
Based on previous timed exclusivity deals, the most likely candidate for its length is only one year. This means that the earliest possible release date of Ghostwire Tokyo on Xbox is Saturday, 25th March 2022.
It is unlikely that this will be the exact date, with the release probably to come shortly after the date much like Arkane's Deathloop which was in a similar situation.

Will Ghost Wire Tokyo be Added to Xbox Game Pass
While there is a lot of confusion currently surrounding when we'll be seeing Ghostwire Tokyo on Xbox platforms, what we do know is where and how we'll be able to play it.
Due to the acquisition of Zenimax and Bethesda by Microsoft, all video games produced by those studios and any subsidiary studios are now considered to be first-party titles for Xbox going forward.
A key element of the Xbox Game Pass marketing strategy is the inclusion of first-party games on the service on day one, making all Zenimax & Bethesda titles prime candidates for day-one additions.
With Tango Gameworks being a subsidiary of Zenimax, this means that Ghostwire Tokyo is also set to join the service as soon as the exclusivity deal runs out.
New Features?
One of the biggest questions regarding Ghostwire Tokyo is whether or not any new content will be added to the game to celebrate its release onto Xbox and other consoles.
Nothing is currently confirmed when it comes to any new updates or content, if the release of Deathloop onto Xbox is anything to go by, something will likely be released to help incentivise people returning to the game.
