Gamescom 2021 Xbox Stream: How to watch the latest announcements?

Gamescom 2021 is almost underway and - although Opening Night Live is tomorrow - there's a little something from Xbox to look forward to later today. If you're looking forward to the Xbox Stream, here's how you can watch it and when it starts.

When does the Xbox Stream start?

The Gamescom 2021 Xbox Stream - which is due to feature updates on already-announced Xbox Game Studios games and new releases - is due to start at the following times:

  • 10:00 August 24th - PST
  • 13:00 August 24th - EST
  • 18:00 August 24th - BST

The Xbox Stream itself is going to be around 90 minutes long, so expect a lot of information about what's coming to Xbox Games Pass next too! We're hoping for a Halo Infinite release date, following a successful Technical Preview, and there's always the next Forza Horizon to talk about...

There's going to be a lot to look forward to later, basically, if you're an Xbox player and watching will be well worth your time.

How can you watch the Xbox Stream?

We know we said it'll be worth your time, but how can you actually watch the upcoming Xbox Stream? Well...

As you might imagine, Xbox is going to be broadcasting their Gamescom 2021 Xbox Stream on pretty much every platform they can broadcast their Xbox Stream. You'll be able to watch on the Official Xbox Channels on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

It's worth noting the following information, though:

  • Xbox Stream will be streamed in 1080p - 4K Stream to be uploaded to YouTube after the broadcast;
  • Subtitles will be available in 30 languages, but they might not all be available for the live broadcast of the Xbox Stream;
  • American Sign Language and Audio Description support will be available on YouTube;
  • Xbox Wire blog posts will be shared as announcements are made during the live Xbox Stream broadcast;
