Xbox Series X Stock Updates
Unusually, it looks like April is going to be a month of drought when it comes to new Xbox Series X stock. There were rumours for a long time that places like Argos, Very, GAME and Currys PC World were getting more stock however we are yet to see this reflected in any actual sales.
StockInformer, as you might expect, confirms our suspicions by stating that no major UK Retailers have any Xbox Series X stock at the moment.
There are rumours that you can get an Xbox Series X console with Xbox All Access through 4Gadgets, but these stocks are often quick to run out.
Of course, there is an alternative. CEX and eBay both have second-hand consoles in stock a lot of the time. These are at an inflated price, though, and you have to be careful with what you buy on eBay. So, we recommend holding out for a new Xbox Series X if you can.
New Game Pass Games
It's been a busy month for Xbox Game Pass already and it's about to be even better!
NHL 21 is now available for Xbox Game Pass via EA Play and it looks like FIFA 21 is due to arrive next!
Following this, Rain on Your Parade (Cloud, Console, PC) and Pathway (PC) are both due on April 15th.
Then, MLB The Show 21 is going to be available to Game Pass Subscribers on day one (That's April 20th!) to round out a huge month for Xbox's service.
Game Updates & New Releases
Apex Legends' War Games event is due to start later today on Xbox consoles and PC.
Mad Maggie's rage knows no bounds as she takes over the Apex Games with her wild Playlist Takeover Modifiers for two weeks of chaos. There's a new Rewards Track, some recoloured cosmetics, and a whole lot more to get stuck into ahead of Season 9.
In addition to this, Fortnite has just announced a new LTM (and Arena Cup) is on the way over the next week featuring PlayStation's Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn!
The Aloy Cup starts April 14th, and the Team Up! Aloy & Lara LTM begins on April 16th. Aloy's bundle is being added to the Fortnite Item Shop from April 15th.
If you own the Aloy outfit and play Fortnite on your PS5, you'll also unlock the Ice Hunter Aloy Style modelled off of Horizon Zero Dawn's Banuk outfits.
Xbox Wire also shared information about the new World of Warships update that's due to drop soon. The April Update is going to reintroduce Aircraft Carriers to the game and brings a new Campaign and new seasons to Arena Mode.
