NBA 2K24 Season 2 is finally here, and players are very excited about all the new content this season introduced. The time to claim all of the Season 1 rewards is over, and is now time to grind to LVL 40 and redeem all the amazing Season 2 rewards.
We already know everything about Season 2, including all of its rewards, new programs, card series, and even all the changes the Season Pass underwent.
So, without further ado, let's find out everything about NBA 2K24 Season 2.
Latest: Season 2 update resets badges back to bronze
The NBA 2K24 community voiced its displeasure with a new glitch that resets badges to bronze. It came after the latest NBA 2K24 Update 1.4 Patch, causing the players to once again criticize the developers.
Namely, many users reported that their MyCareer mode players have lost all the badge progress they have made so far. Others have reported that they only lost progress in their offensive badges, while some lost progress in their defensive badges.
So far, 2K has not yet commented on this new glitch. Players do expect it to be fixed before the NBA 2K24 Season 2 comes out.
As mentioned above, Season 2 is already live! The new season arrived at NBA 2K24 on Friday, 20 October at around 8:00am PT/4:00pm BST, and it brought a lot of new content.
There is no more time for players to reach LVL 40 and claim all of the rewards of Season 1. Instead, users should now focus on the Season 2 reward ladder, and try to reach the highest level possible.
Season 2 introduced many new and exciting programs, as well as some great rewards. So, let's take a look at them below.
Season 2 programs
With the arrival of a new Season, we expect some new programs to arrive at MyTEAM. These programs will bring some spectacular cards, that possess great attributes, and badges, and that are perfect if you want to upgrade your team.
The Ultimate Season 2 reward is Diamond Shai Gilgeous-Alexander!
A plethora of new card series are also expected to arrive throughout Season 2. These card series will bring a wide variety of cards, with some being among the best in the game, while others being only useful to use in the exchanges feature.
We still don't know exactly what card series or programs will be coming in Season 2. But we will make sure to update this article as soon as that information is made available, so stay tuned for that.
As it happened with every other NBA 2K season, Season 2 also brought plenty of rewards. Players can earn these rewards by completing challenges, playing games, or completing the NBA 2K24 MyTEAM agendas.
Oh, there is also another way to complete the NBA 2K24 Season 2 and acquire all of the rewards at the same time. To do that, you just need to pull your credit card out and pay to skip all levels of the Season 2 Pass. After that, you just need to redeem all the rewards you got without playing a single game.
So, let's take a look at all the Season 2 rewards below.
MyCAREER Season 2 rewards
In Season 2 of MyCAREER, the biggest addition is the new cyborg skin. However, to get it, you'll have to purchase the new season pass with real money. The pass includes the skin, 45,000 VC, 25,000 MyTEAM Points, and an alternate version of the MyTEAM Level 40 reward, along with several other new items.
If you choose not to buy the pass, you can still unlock a new Mascot Costume featuring Memphis, Sacramento, or Milwaukee's mascot, as well as a new Floor Setter to lock in your badges.
In addition to the above, the team is introducing 20 new player templates for building your created character, including Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Blake Griffin, and Dwight Howard. Moreover, several new archetypes from the 2K community are being added, giving you more choices for creating your player.
MyTEAM Season 2 rewards
You can add the Free Agent Victor Wembanyama card to your lineup right out of the gate, as it's the Level 1 reward of Season 2. This card can help you complete many missions and quickly unlock other Season 2 rewards.
The MyTEAM Level 40 reward is a Diamond Wilt Chamberlain card, which will certainly be useful for most squads. However, if you buy the season pass, you'll get an alternative artwork version of him, as well as Amethyst Donovan Mitchell and a Hall of Fame Hyperdrive badge card.
Although Mitchell may not be as dominant as Giannis Antetokounmpo was in the last season, he is sure to be a valuable addition to your team. He has great shooting, athleticism, and playmaking attributes. This Mitchell card also possesses some excellent badges.
Some of the other featured rewards for Season 2 include Diamond Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as the Ultimate Season Reward, Amethyst Terry Dischinger earned by getting the Ruby Player Rewards in all 3 Rounds of Salary Cap in Season 2, and at Season Level 35 an Amethyst Coach Gregg Popovich card.
In NBA 2K24 Season 2, you can get plenty of new and powerful Diamond cards, most of them representing legends of the game. You can pick up a Diamond Tim Duncan and Diamond Carmelo Anthony card as Collection Rewards or as Special Inserts in the Pack Market through two new premium collections. Additionally, a Diamond Michael Jordan was also available at the launch of Season 2 as a Special Insert in the Pack Market or directly in the Player Market.

Season 2 also brought plenty of rewards to THE W, such as jerseys, badge boosts, shoe cards, and many others. It's worth noting that, these rewards are only available for next-gen platforms.

Sleeved alternate uniforms
MyTEAM has introduced a new collection of Historic Sleeved Alternate Uniforms. The Gold Uniform Cards can be found in Packs & Boxes in the Pack Market, as well as in the Uniform Award Pack.
Moreover, you can earn them in most MyTEAM modes in Season 2 through the new Sleeved Uniform Award Pack. By collecting all of them, you can earn a Hall of Fame Badge Pack Collection Reward.
NBA 2K24 Season 2 Pass
Just like it happened in Season 1, players will have three Season 2 Passes, with two of them being premium. These premium passes are called the Pro Pass and the Hall Of Fame Pass, and they cost $9.99 and $19.99 respectively.
The premium passes bring many more rewards than the standard Pass, with the Hall Of Fame Pass even giving users a 10 LVLs head start. As mentioned above, it's also possible to pay to skip levels, meaning players can finish the Season Pass without playing one single game.
So, if you want access to the best rewards in Season 2, or complete the Season Pass in the blink of an eye, just get your credit card out. We know the majority of the NBA 2K community dislikes this feature, and players were very vocal about it when it was announced in Season 1. Unfortunately, it seems 2K has no intent of removing it from the game.
As usual, 2K introduced a plethora of new songs to the game with the arrival of Season 2. This new soundtrack features artists from many different genres, and it also has a mixture of established artists, such as Rae Sremmurd, Pusha T, and Stray Kids, with upcoming talents like That Mexican OT.
