The 2022/23 pre-season schedule has begun, with the top clubs from around Europe heading across the globe to gain fitness ahead of the start of their domestic campaigns.
Whilst too much shouldn't be read into the results of the pre-season schedule, the matches give managers the opportunities to take a closer look at their squad ahead of the start of their respective campaigns.

2022/23 Season Start Dates
The 2022/23 domestic seasons will be kicking off soon, with the top five leagues in Europe all due to begin within the next month.
The 2022/23 Premier League season will get underway on Friday, August 5th as Arsenal head to Crystal Palace. France's Ligue 1 campaign will get underway on the same day, with Lyon hosting Ajaccio.
The Bundesliga is also due to begin on Friday, August 5th, as defending champions Bayern Munich head to Eintracht Frankfurt for an evening kick-off.
The 2022/23 LaLiga season will get underway a week later, with Osasuna's clash against Sevilla opening the proceedings on Friday, August 12th. The Serie A will be the final division to get underway, with a host of fixtures on August 13th, including Milan against Udinese.
