The quarter-finals of the 2022 US Open begin today with the likes of Nick Kyrgios, Matteo Berrettini, Coco Gauff and Ons Jabeur all in action as they look to book their semi-final tickets.

The round of 16 offered up plenty of surprises with both of the favourites for the men's singles competition eliminated. Rafael Nadal was beaten by home hero Frances Tiafoe, while Nick Kyrgios eliminated world No.1 Daniil Medvedev.

With a star-studded selection on the cards for Tuesday's matches, here is today's US Open order of play.

Here is the order of play for Tuesday's US Open singles competition matches. Times are in BST and are estimates, not guaranteed.

Arthur Ashe Stadium:

  • Game 1: Matteo Berrettini (13) vs Casper Ruud (5) - 5pm BST
  • Game 2: Ons Jabeur (5) vs Ajla Tomljanovic - 7pm BST
  • Game 3: Coco Gauff (12) vs Caroline Garcia (17) - 12pm BST
  • Game 4: Nick Kyrgios (23) vs Karen Khachanov (27) - 1.30am BST

Matteo Berrettini and Casper Ruud will kickstart Tuesday's US Open action when they face off at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Game two of the day sees Wimbledon finalist Ons Jabeur take on Ajla Tomljanovic, who is the only unseeded player left across the eight singles quarter-finals matches.

Home hero Coco Gauff returns to action in game three as she takes on well-fancied Caroline Garcia for a spot in the semi-finals.

Finally, Nick Kyrgios will continue his campaign for a first Grand Slam title when he takes on Karen Khachanov of Russia.
